New Listings Rise to Start the Year.

Vancouver, BC February 4, 2008 - The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that residential attached, detached and apartment property sales totaled  1,819 units in January 2008, an increase of 0.7 per cent over the 1,806 total residential sales in January 2007 and a 5.5 per cent decline from the 1,924 sales recorded in January 2006.

2007 Residential Housing Sales Rank Second All-Time

Vancouver, BC January 3, 2008 - Residential Housing sales for 2007 are the second highest ever recorded by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV).  The REBGV reports that residential attached, detached and apartment sales totalled 38,050 between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007.  This marks a 7.2 per cent increase from 2006 and a 6.1 per cent decrease from 2005, the record setting year with 40,530 sales.

Housing Sales Continue To Rise In November

Vancouver, BC December 4, 2007 - The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that total residential sales reached 2,823 units in November 2007, an increase of 22.2 per cent compared to 2,358 sales in November 2006 and, and a 1.9 per cent decrease compared to the 2,938 units sold in November 2005.

October Housing Sales Consistent With Record Highs

Vancouver, BC November 5, 2007 - The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that total residential sales reached 3,028 units in October 2007, an increase of 11.2 per cent compared to 2,722 sales in October 2006 and a 2.3 per cent decrease compared to the 3,099 units sold in October 2005.
